Affiliate Disclosure

Last Revised: August 01, 2020

These disclosures are meant to clarify our relationship with third parties whom we may feature on our website and to provide disclosures related to FTC 16 CFR, Part 255. Here at Whatishemp LLC (hereafter “WhatisHemp”), our main goal is to educate and raise awareness about hemp and its potential uses and benefits by providing unbiased information and links to other resources, including products or services provided by third parties (hereafter “Affiliates”).

Affiliates may pay us a fee or otherwise compensate us in exchange for inclusion on our website. We believe in providing you with unbiased, high-quality information and resources meant to help you with your goals. To that end, we strive to only engage with Affiliates whose content, products, or services align with our objectives. We are very selective about the Affiliates who we include on our website and believe in putting our users’ needs above our own financial gain.

WhatisHemp may work with hemp companies and other retailers, vendors, or service providers in the following ways:

  1. We may have cost-per-click, affiliate fee, and/or sponsorship arrangements with various brands, retailers, vendors, or service providers. In no uncertain terms, this compensation has no influence on the product reviews and guides we publish.
  2. We may also receive complimentary products from vendors for testing purposes such that we are confident including references to them on our website.
  3. We may include sponsored content on our website. If we’re paid to post such content, we’ll always clearly mark this content as sponsored. We’ll also clearly label any sponsored content we email to subscribers of our mailing list.

Furthermore, we’ll always clearly disclose any joint ownership or other financial relationship we may have with any Affiliates.

If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to contact us at Admin@whatishemp.com.
